Are You Ruling As A King And Priest In Your Home?

Sometimes we learn things and although we don’t forget them, they go dormant waiting for an opportune time to resurface. In the last few weeks, I experienced this as my pastor began speaking about the Believer’s role as king and priest. All of a sudden, everything I had learned came to the forefront once more. I believe it is an important message for this hour.
Jesus has made us kings and priests in His kingdom. We are not a king or a priest. We are both king and priest. So what is a king and what is a priest?

Kings and Priests

A king is a person with absolute authority over all the affairs of his domain. Kings are responsible for the welfare and protection of their subjects. They represent their domain and the principles on which it is founded.

A priest is a person whom God has given authority to go before God on behalf of men and go before men on behalf of God. Going before God requires that the priest be without sin. As Believers, we are made sinless through the washing of Christ’s blood. No man will be cleaner than one who has been washed in the blood of Jesus. Soap and water cleanse only the body. The blood of Jesus cleanses your soul. In god’s sight we are without sin and can approach Him as priests.

You are freed from all sin to live for God as His king and priest. Isn’t that awesome?

Did you notice that authority resides in both roles? We absolutely can reign in life and achieve all the things that God has planned for us. We are equipped to take charge of both our personal domain and to be change agents in the world around us. We are called to use our authority in prayer to bring God’s will to pass in the earth. We no longer have to dabble in worry, doubt and unbelief allowing the circumstances of this life to weigh us down.

To function in the role of king and priest you must see yourself as both king and priest. Use your thoughts to affirm God’s desire for you in the authority He has given you and how it will impact destinies – not only your own, but of those who are within your sphere of influence.

Everyone Is Subject To Someone’s Authority

Each of us must answer to another’s authority. In order to fully exercise our authority, we, ourselves, need to be under Godly authority. Your pastor is an authority over you as a part of your local church. The anointing on the pastor flows through to the congregation. I love it that my church is an actively praying church. When we pray, we know that things are changing and that things are shifting. Our pastors’ strong apostolic anointing is clearly evident when they speak. And because they are my pastors, as one who is under their authority, I expect their anointing to flow in my life. I believe that great things will happen in my personal life and in my family.

What Is The Importance of Living As A King And Priest?

Why are we to live as a king and priest? This is the order that God Himself has ordained. God will always honor the principles and structures that He has set in place. He will support you as you learn to function in these roles and loves it when you begin exercising your authority in greater measure over your home, family, business and all of your possessions.

God has a plan for you: He desires for you to partner with Him on the earth in broader realms of influence and authority through you and your prayers. God has called us to use our God-given authority to further His Kingdom, beginning in our households.

Are You Living Like a King and Priest in Your Home?

Revelation 1:6 says: “And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.” Amen. God has a plan for all of us to reign as kings and priests in this life. So, are you ruling your home life as a king and priest?

You see, when we consider the functions of kings and priests, we notice that most of us are not living as such in our households.

How does a king reign in his home? Is there confusion as to who sets the standard in the home? Is the enemy allowed to come in and countermand the king’s standards? Is there poverty in the home? Does the king act and dress as a pauper? No, of course not. In the home of the king there is order and authority, a code of conduct, prosperity and abundance. A king has compassion for those under his authority and he uses his authority to advance his subjects’ well being.

And how does a priest function within his household? Does a priest take care of his own spiritual needs and leave other household members to do the same? No, a priest ministers to his household. He imparts honour of God and conformance to God’s standards. He teaches the difference between right and wrong. He covers the home in prayer. He goes before God and represents his household.

The king protects and supplies while the priest teaches, imparts and advocates. As a king and priest, you have a responsibility within your own family. You are responsible to protect your family by proclaiming the blood of Jesus over all family members, thus imparting His protection. Then you assure provision for the needs of your family through acknowledging that God is the only source in your life and that there is no other god before you.

The Details Of God’s Plan Are Found In His Word

We have been given the Bible as the standard to order our own life. In it we can find the guidance for daily life. We have a choice before us to live under its authority or to rebel or abdicate.

Living as a king and priest is the best life that we can live while on this earth. It is not only God’s will for us to live as a king and priest, but it is also an excellent lifestyle that will produce abundance and fruit in your life.

Today Is The Day – Now Is The Time

Today Is The Day – Now Is The Time

by Olga Hermans

I’d like to share one of my favorite scriptures with you today; I have quite a few and this one is certainly one of them.

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. Psalm 66:12 KJV

I took this translation because I like the fact that it speaks of a wealthy place.

God wants to bring you into that place, into your very own wealthy place in Him. You live in Him and you have your whole being in Him. You live in Him and He lives in you. When you are in that place, it will have an effect on all the areas of your life for the good.

God is a good God; He will not force you into that place but He will lead you and in some instances He will even go before you! Because He wants to lead you to that place, you have to learn how to find your wealthy place and then let God bring you there.

I have gone through some rough spots in my life and so have you most likely; I felt at times that I could hardly hold my head above the water and sometimes I felt that I was burned on every side. I remember a time that we were financially in a very tight spot and if somebody hadn’t come in and paid the rent for us, we might have ended up on the streets.

I learned that it is God’s perfect will for us that we come out of those places; we don’t have to stay in those tight spots where we can hardly breathe.

God is a good God and He does NOTHING halfway. His intention is always to bring you out of something to bring you into something better. God brought the children of Israel out of the wilderness into the land flowing with milk and honey.

Have you ever been through the “fire and water” concerning money? There is a big chance that you have like many others and you even might have accepted it. But you know what; we have accepted some things that we should not have accepted.

Now you might be thinking that it is normal to be broke. Let me tell you this and I hope you believe it; it is not normal to be broke; it is abnormal. God has given us this promise in Psalm 102:13 He is telling us to ARISE. This is time to arise to the favor of the Lord.

This is the time for you to realize that you are in a covenant with God and that He has provided everything for you in Christ. He has a plan and a purpose for you; His design for you and me is to be wealthy.

If you don’t know how His covenant works; you probably will think that the prosperity message is a message for the greedy, lazy bunch and you don’t want it. But God providing for your every need is to bring Him Glory; God wants to show the world how well He takes care of you and me.

Do you remember what He did for Ruth? At the time that her husband died, she wanted to stay with her mother-in-law. The next thing that happens is that she meets Boaz who is a wealthy business man and eventually marries him. One minute Ruth was broke and the next minute so to speak she is living in a palace.

Ruth was very faithful; she took care of God’s business by staying with her mother in law and God blessed her tremendously as a result. When you know what God’s will is for you and you give Him 1st place in your life by developing a personal relationship with Him, you are putting yourself in a position to be blessed by Him.

How many are there that have no clue that there is a wealthy place in God that He wants to bring them into. As Abraham’s seed and heir of the world you have the power to get wealth in every form like wisdom and faith, revelation knowledge and the anointing for increase, gifts and fruit of the Spirit; creative ideas, concepts and insights; houses, land, businesses, contracts, favor, jobs, promotions, inheritance, debt cancellation, transportation vehicles and so much more.

You have to exercise diligence, for the hand of the diligent makes rich. Today God’s grace is abounding toward you and your family with a bountiful harvest from all the seed that you have ever sown.

We all need more understanding of the will of the Lord. The 23rd Psalm tells us that the Lord is our shepherd and that we shall not want. Psalm 23:5 tells us that our cup will run over. I believe that when God did it for David, He’ll do it for you and me!

Psalm 66:12 talks about that wealthy place in God. One more time, He doesn’t only want to bring you out; He also wants to bring you in a much better place. When you got saved, you were “brought out” of the Kingdom of darkness. God doesn’t want to stop there. He wants to bring you into a wealthy place too. Receive it by yielding to His will.

The moral and ethical side of wanting
to make a lot of money in business

By:  Sandi Krakowski

In today’s economy, many people are looking for a small business as a way to supplement or replace a lost income. Some even desire to replace a current working income because they are not enjoying the current condition of Corporate America. Having your own business that operates virtually online has become the path to ‘dreams come true’ for people who would have never thought of doing so in the past.

As we’ve had the opportunity to coach many new and aspiring business owners one of the first things I ask of my clients is WHY are they wanting to work online and run their own business. Unanimously, the common answer I always hear is a desire to make more money.

When someone wants to make more money there are a host of challenges that arise that many new business owners are not prepared for. Something I’d like to shed some light on is the fact that desiring to make a lot of money in business is not only a great moral desire but also a very ethical desire.  One of the reasons creating a lot of money in business is both ethical and moral is that in order to succeed in business you must work on more than just learning new marketable skills.

The CEO must work on becoming a better person who can run, manage and create a large business. As a matter of fact this is one of the biggest things that a business owner must do to be successful and it is the place where success separates from mediocre. In other words, many aspire to succeed; few will walk the road it takes to get to where they’re dreaming of being.

One very prevalent thing new business owners are facing as they seek to build a company is that most people believe that building a big business is inherently bad. Many think they have not been influenced by the things that are directed towards the attack of wealth and business but the reality is there is a long term ripple effect that has been building up for years that makes it a big challenge to move forward in prosperity as a business owner.

Rabbi Daniel Lapin shares in his book, “Thou Shall Prosper”

“Understand that it is very unlikely that you have not been at least slightly impacted by the culture’s slander of business. For those doubtful of how successful the campaign to discredit the worthiness of business has been, Business Week featured a cover story entitled, “Too Much Corporate Power” Sept 2000 that quantified American attitudes toward business with polls

72% of Americans agreed that business has gained too much power over too many aspects of American life.
Only 47 percent agree that “in general, what is good for business is good for most Americans” (down from 72% in 1996)
66 percent agree that “large profits are more important to business than developing safe, reliable, quality products”
Only 27 percent thought that business had “fair and reasonable prices, relative to their profits”

While certainly admiring the achievements of many of today’s wildly successful young entrepreneurs, many Americans have become conditioned to distrust the morality of business. “

If as a society we distrust the morality and ethical value of growing enormous profits as a company it is a natural law of success and wealth that we will struggle to increase our own personal wealth as a business owner until we rectify this on a personal level. To see if you happen to have such judgements and skepticism of company growth and the rich, ask yourself if you’ve ever made comments about those “Big deep pocketed executives who are only out for themselves” or have you given into popular opinion that the “Rich should be taxed because they can afford to cover the rest of us who are struggling.” Judging and distrusting the rich is a huge error if you aspire to increase your own personal wealth.

Daniel Lapin continues with this profoundly disturbing but truthful statement-

“Here is the message that the culture is broadcasting: If you cause unbearable pain to others while in pursuit of your sexual pleasure, you will find understanding and sympathy. However, if you are a businessperson causing even the slightest tinge of discomfort to others while in pursuit of profit and wealth, you will immediately and unconditionally be condemned as immoral.”

As I coach one on one with many clients and in groups with 40-80 clients at a time, I have become very painfully aware of how many people are not only judging the rich they are nearly terrified to break out of the set pattern of our culture and will unconsciously do anything they can to prevent themselves from being successful. The occurrence of procrastination increases, the reasons for not moving forward rise and the extenuating circumstances that prevent one from really working as hard as they can and giving it their all come in more flavors than even ice cream. Sadly, most people who say they want to make more money have never even considered let alone truly given intense thought to the moral and ethical side of making money.

When we add in the dignity and morality of business, the reality of inviting real mentorship into your space and getting to know oneself at a deep level, most people grow so uncomfortable they will stop before acquiring any level of success. If they do move forward, once the realization that they must drop the idol of perfection, learn to know and act on what is coming in the future and really do what it takes to succeed in business on a daily level, most people will succumb to what they’ve always known. They recoil and take the ‘well worn path’, even though it’s really a place of misery and distraught and the argument and war against wealth continues, full steam ahead.

My friends, did you ever dream in a million years that you are actually fighting a moral and ethical war when you seek to increase your own personal wealth, grow a big company, create jobs for many people and provide for those who cannot provide for themselves? Success is far more than a dream, it’s something that in order to achieve you’ll need to truly get over lesser things and grow as the Champion you were designed to be.

I’ll never forget when God had a heart to heart talk with me and told me to STOP worrying about what people think of me. He told me that it was far more than getting over my insecurities and fears of what people thought of me. It was greater than being concerned about the judgements that they had against me. He said that I had entered the realm that was in war for quite sometime before I even got there and while I certainly am not at the level of many big high level corporations, I had entered the rank of battle that many company owners know nothing about because they quit far too soon.

I want to challenge you today, to ask yourself why you want to make more money in business. Is it merely to increase your own personal net worth? And if it isn’t just for your own personal satisfaction and consumption are you willing to make a commitment to not only build a business, but become a NEW you?

Wealth will require the following equation.

Increased Wealth =  The New You – The Old You

This equation was first presented to me in Daniel Lapin’s book and it really gave me an enormous breakthrough. The concept of getting new friends, a new mind, new ways of thinking and doing things is not a mere suggestion for those who wish to get a raise on a job, it’s an absolute requirement if you desire to create a entirely new future for yourself and your family. The New You will attract new opportunities, it will increase your confidence, you’ll make more money and more people will be attracted to you because of this. In other words, to acquire more money you CANNOT stay the same, stay who you are or continue to live as you do. It will require that you work on far more than merely new learning skills. Anyone who tells you to get new skills is really short changing the equation of real wealth creation- get a new YOU for a new life and a new bank account is the reality you’ll end up with.

Lastly, because it is a moral and ethical thing to make more money, I have another challenge to present you with today. Here is it. It is perfectly acceptable and kosher for you to ask God to help you to make more money. It’s perfectly acceptable for you to ask God for more money in general! If you are comfortable with prayer, go ahead and include a request for prosperity in your prayer time. What you are truly asking for my friends, is an increased opportunity to serve your fellow human beings and make an impact to benefit others.

That… is what A Real Change is all about.

You are the most important asset that you have. Take care of yourself.

Simple Steps to Pay Yourself First

by Beau Henderson

Are you saving regularly?

Many people never save because they think it is too complicated, but the concept of saving is really quite simple.  Developing the discipline of saving is what takes a little work.

The three reasons I hear most for not being able to save are: I don’t make enough, I’ll save what’s left, and I have too much debt.
Do you relate to any of these reasons for not saving?

Let’s examine these excuses together, one at a time, and find out how you can start to pay yourself first.  The good news is that You can begin to save now, today, because paying yourself first is a mindset and a habit that has nothing to do with the size of your paycheck.

Reason #1: I don’t make enough money…

There are two kinds of people – those who save now and those who wait. The employee who makes $2,000 a month and gets in the habit of putting $50 of it away will have $600 saved by the end of the year. The same employee who waits until they can “save more” will have $0. And after 10 years, they still won’t have anything saved, and will still be waiting to have enough to save.
Are You Playing the “When I/Then I” Game?

It goes something like this… “When I can save $200 a month, then I will start to put away money for the future”.  The problem with this game is that it rarely, if ever works and our nature is to always create the next “When I/Then I” scenario instead of developing the habit needed to be successful with money.
Get into the habit of setting aside a portion of what you make now.

It doesn’t matter how little, it can be $5 or $5000. The important thing is to get in the habit. If you can bump up that amount annually by at least 3% or $25 a check as your pay increases, and in ten years, you’ll be saving at least $250 a paycheck. But it will never add up like that unless you get started.

Reason #2 I’ll save what’s left…

And typically what’s left is nothing. It happens to everyone. Saving won’t happen if you approach it this way. It is human nature to spend what is there, so don’t even give yourself the option. Take out the amount first, before you’ve even see it. Have it automatically deducted if you can, and put it into a separate account. Once you get in the habit of doing this, you won’t even miss it.
Put it on Auto Pilot For Success

To be successful at paying yourself first make savings automatic.  Your company’s 401k, 403b, SEP, or other retirement plan can deduct a percentage of your income pre-tax from your paycheck.  You can set up an automatic draft to fund after tax savings like ROTH IRAs, brokerage accounts, and savings accounts.  You have to plan for real life  and can set up automatic drafts to fill up separate buckets for emergency savings, car fund, house maintenance.
Reward Yourself to Stay on Track

All of this automatic saving is great, but if you want to stay on track you have to build in some rewards for all of your disciplined hard work.  Most successful clients build in buckets or automatic accounts to fill up for things like a road trip to see the grandkids, an annual trip to Vegas, or a deep sea fishing trip with the guys.

Remember, financial success is about living well.  These memorable experiences are priceless and need to be planned and saved for or else we are right back to playing the “When I/Then I” game in this area as well.

Reason #3 I have too much debt…

The truth is those that have the discipline to pay themselves first get out of debt faster.

Debt won’t go away unless you pay it off and nothing will get saved unless you start now. So split the difference. Come up with a formula that works for you.   People that have a succesful relationship with money create a formula using these 4 components:

Example:

1.      An amount you can live off – 70%

2.      An amount to save – 10%

3.      An amount to go towards debt – 10%

4.      An amount to give away – 10%

If you need every penny, the breakdown can be 97%, 1%, 1%, 1%.

What happens when the debt is gone?  You’ll be able to increase your savings without having to change your lifestyle or spend a penny more.

Paying yourself first puts the focus where it should be – on the person whom the money was meant to serve. In my experience, it is never the behavior of the investment that makes the difference so much as the behavior of the investor.

You are the most important asset that you have. Take care of yourself. It might be hard at first, but getting into the habit now will result in easier saving tomorrow. This is one of the core principals necessary to building a RichLife. It is my most sincere hope that you achieve yours.

What is your biggest obstacle when it comes to paying yourself first?

How to Plan the Ultimate Rich Life

God Wants To Bless And Prosper You Beyond Your Wildest Imaginations

How to Plan the Ultimate Rich Life

By Olga Hermans

Many people are in the woods over God’s blessings. They don’t know where good things come from, and they don’t know where bad things come from. You can’t resist bad things if you think God is giving them to you.

God wants to bless all of His people, but some have their arms folded. It is time to acknowledge, “Lord, if you made the whole universe for me, then I am going to receive what You have for me.” God is interested in your prosperity. He wants to bless and prosper you beyond your wildest imaginations.

“A RichLife doesn’t just happen.
Whether it’s building long-term financial success, achieving better health,
spending more time with your kids, seeing the world—
or more likely a combination of all these things and more—
whatever your vision of a meaningful life is, you have to seek it,
plan for it and maintain it. This is where you start.”
~ Beau Henderson

Beau Henderson

Last May I mentioned in an article that I had won a contest; “The RichLife Fast Track 30 Day Coaching Program”. It was phenomenal I must say; I met two of the nicest people that I have ever met. Beau Henderson and Jodi Nicholson coached me and others from the beginning to the finish of the 30Days.

Living in God’s abundance means different things to different people. To some it means healing and wholeness. To others it means a fluency in their finances. I know one thing; “It Is Time for a Life More Abundantly.” You know the bible says that we may prosper in all things and be in health, just as our soul prospers. 3John 1:2

That is exactly what Beau says here in his statement: a rich life encompasses our whole life, not just one separate part of it. Say, if you would have all the money you need and then some, but your marriage is in ruins, or your children don’t want to know you; you would be very unhappy.

Prosperity is a result. It is clear that God wants His children to prosper. How can anyone deny that? However, prosperity should not be the end in itself. It ought to be the result of a quality life.

This is very funny, as I looked up this scripture and see what I found out: in this text the word “prosper” literally means “to help on the road” or “succeed in reaching”. It clearly implies that divine prosperity is not a momentary, passing phenomenon. It is intended for every area of our lives: the spiritual, the physical and emotional, and the material. However God does not want us to overly emphasize any one area. We must maintain a balance.

I know many people have been robbed from their health or finances and somehow seem to tolerate it. Do you know what I am talking about? There is a poverty and lack mentality in some people that is against the will of God. We need to replace this poverty mentality with some knowledge and a plan.

A plan? Yeah, you need a plan. Many mysteries have been revealed in my life, things that were hidden away had to come to the surface, because one of the most important things they taught me was that we have to be honest with ourselves and in fact; brutally honest.

Let me tell you what I learned and had to implement in my life in these 30 Days. You see without taking action there will be no change. The first thing you need to know is where you are. It is like the GPS system in your vehicle, it must have two pieces of information to function.

First you must know your destination, and second, you must know your current location. Without knowing these two locations, there is no way you can accurately map your path. While this is true for mapping a trip, it is even more important when mapping your journey for successful retirement.

They had us look at the different areas in our life: financial, spiritual & personal, professional, legacy, relationships, environment, fun & personal growth.

When there are areas of weakness that tend to drag us down, become a nuisance and keep us out of balance. It’s best to have all areas complimenting each other; this may require toning down one area to balance another.

They had us look at our personal core values; oh boy…were they ever talking to me! Values and principles are so vital to our life, because that is what you build your life upon. Proverbs 23:7 says “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he”. Truth always comes to us first in thoughts and ideas, forming concepts in us that turn into principles for living.

They become our values and disciplines that create our character. When real character is formed, we are prepared for anything. We become solutions to problems. We are structured for success and positioned for blessings and favour from God and man.

Another assignment was to write down our personal vision statement; a strategic plan for the future of how you see yourself and want to be seen by others. “He who fails to plan, plans to fail” is so very true!

So many times we set goals that are vague and we have no commitment; we are just hoping and wishing that something will happen. We were taught to do it in the R.I.G.H.T. way which means: REALISTIC, INSPIRATIONAL, GIFTS, HARMONY, TIME TESTED & TRUE.

These goals need to feel right, because the next step is to take action. Every day you need to make steps toward your goals to reach the outcome. Consider a goal of saving $1,000.00 a year for 5 years. At the end of 5 years most people don’t just walk in the bank and make one deposit. They make small deposits frequently or consistently each day, week or month towards the desired goal or outcome.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!

It is needless to say that this was a very productive month for me. Well, I didn’t tell you all this to let you standing there in the cold. I am planning to interview Beau Henderson here on The Choice Driven Life. I gained a lot of wisdom from a man that wants to help people to live the RichLife; I am VERY thankful!

10 Facts about Money

10 Facts about Money

by Olga Hermans

These 10 facts about money will hopefully help you understand that our God is a good God; He loves us no matter what we do and where we are in life. But, you gotta know that if there are areas in our life where don’t apply His truth, He cannot bless us the way He wants to bless us. He always acts on our behalf when we apply HIS truth to our circumstances; He cannot act on what we think is right because that wouldn’t make Him a trustworthy God. One day He would agree with what you believe and on another day He would agree with what I believe. That would make it all very complicated wouldn’t it? No, His truth stands for today and forever.

1.Finances are important

If something is important to God, don’t you think it should be important to you? It should be firmly rooted into your spirit that God does desire good things for you. Not only does He want you to be spiritually strong and prosperous, He also desires you to be prosperous in the material area of your life and your family. He wants you to have food, clothing, housing, finances and yes, even everything that pertains to the “good life.”

2. Money is NOT evil

One of the biggest mistakes about money comes from a misunderstanding of 1Tim. 6:10: for the love of money is the root of all evil… People act upon what they think the verse says: “for the love of money is the root of all evil.” That is not what this verse says at all!

You have to see clearly that this verse does not say that money is evil! It clearly states that the love of money is the root of all evil. Nothing at all is said about money itself in verse 10: all it says is that the love of money is at the root of all evil.

3. Improper attitudes toward money can harm you

Money can harm you, because it is very powerful. Money magnifies what is already on the inside of you. It can harm you, for example, if you use it for dark and sinful purposes. It can harm you if you use it to buy drugs or narcotics. You are in real danger of your money hurting you whenever it begins to rule you, instead of you ruling it.

4. Money doesn’t guarantee happiness

Many of the things which make us unhappy can be “cured” by money. For example, a father who is unhappy because he does not have the money to provide food for his family will be happy when his paycheck comes. But, money itself never guarantees happiness.

If money guaranteed happiness, then all the rich folks would be marvellously happy and all the poor folks would be miserable sad. We all know that, that is not true.

5. People are not destined to be poor

Have you ever heard people say, “I guess I’m just not meant to be rich. I must be destined to be poor, so I suppose it’s time I accept my lot in life.” May people believe this way. They believe God has somehow ordained a select people to have all the wealth and the rest to struggle in poverty all of their lives.

The law of poverty says: if you are lazy and do not work, you will not receive provision. Prov.24:33-34

The law of prosperity says: if you are not lazy, if you will work without constant supervision, if you are liberal in your giving and put Jesus first in our finances, then you will be prosperous. Prov.6:6-8 and Prov.11:24-25

6. God wants you to be prosperous

Many Christians honestly believe that poverty is godly. It is time to start believing God’s Word instead of their own ideas. God’s Word does not teach poverty! There is nothing spiritual in poverty, nothing blessed in not being able to pay your bills and nothing sacred about tattered clothes.

7. You can increase your finances

God wants us to live in abundance, and He has given us specific instructions for increasing our finances. 3John 2. God has given us spiritual laws to apply to our life, especially by giving our tithes and offering cheerfully, planting seeds liberally, eliminating our debts, no impulsive buying and investing wisely especially in the spreading of the gospel.

8. God cares how much you give

If God didn’t care how much or how often you give, he would not have included so many instructions in the bible concerning the methods, the time and the proper attitudes for giving. When Jesus walked on the earth, He watched the people giving their offerings in the temple. Mark 12:41

Jesus was very moved by the widow’s giving. If we only tip God, we probably hope He doesn’t notice, but when we get serious about giving and give a substantial portion of our income to the Lord, it is comforting to know that He takes notice and that proper giving is seen by Him.

9. Money is a spiritual subject

If money is not a spiritual subject, then why is so much said about it in the Bible? Prov.10:22 and Psalm 35:27; the bible tells us even how to increase our funds: Luke 6:38. Mal.3:10 tells that when we give money, it is an act of worship. Satan has lied to us and convinced many of us that money is evil or at least definitely unspiritual; that’s a lie!

Money is your life. Each week when you are paid, the paycheck you receive is the company’s way of reimbursing you for the part of your life you spent in service to the company. When you give a part of your life each week to your employer, then the money he gives you in exchange for your life is money that represents a portion of your total life.

10. Give and expect to receive

This is shocking for most Christians; they sincerely feel they should not expect anything back for what they have given. Listen, when you give and expect nothing back, that is well and good and noble, and God will honor your heart, but that is not giving the biblical way. The godly way to give is: Give, expecting to receive!

Stop saying that you do not expect anything back from God when you give. That is simply not a biblical statement. Give, expecting to receive, so you can turn around and be a good steward by giving even more to God’s Kingdom work next time.

Once you and I understand that God intends for us to be prosperous, and once we learn how to apply His principles in our life, there should be a change of finances. These were not a “pie in the sky” promises, this is God’s Word to you. Nothing will more dramatically change your financial circumstances than renewing your mind to these truths and then by applying them to your life.

The Floodgates Of Heaven

The Blessing Will Lift Us Up Above Oour Circumstances In A Way That Our Circumstances Are Covered With The Blessing.

The Floodgates Of Heaven

Olga Hermans

There is no reason for you and I to be broke even in a difficult time of finances, because we operate in a different Kingdom; aren’t you glad? I am thrilled, because I know that we operate in the Kingdom of Heaven.  Hereare 2 words with the same meaning; it will bless you when you receive them for what they stand.

Once we are born again, we are translated out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of light. And if we give God time and attention, we come into that light and He will show us how to live without sickness, without disease and without poverty, without any other curse.

You don’t have to be under any of the curses if you made Jesus the Lord of your life, why? Because the scripture says that He bore the curse for us.

SEEK FIRST the Kingdom of God; SEEK is big and FIRST is big; go after Him before you go after anything else. Go first after the Kingdom of God means that you go after the things the way God does things.

Tithing is a something that God requires from us, isn’t it? My husband and I love to tithe; every time when money comes into the bank, we rejoice because we are able to tithe. To us tithing is really an insurance policy where all of our money is concerned; our money is protected, it cannot be drained and it cannot be stolen.
Mal 3:10  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. When the floodgates of heaven open; it is uncontainable.

We have just seen with the tsunami in Japan; water flushes everything away, it washes out houses, big boats until nothing is  left over. That is how powerful water can be. There is a great connection between the blessing and a flood. When it says “opening the windows of heaven”, we should picture ourselves standing under these open windows of heaven, this blessing is overtaking us. Let’s have a look at this picture; this might surprise you and bless you especially if you choose to believe it 🙂

Gen 7:11  In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. The word “windows” in Gen 7:11 is the same word as in Mal.3:10 and both words mean “floodgates”. That is revelation knowledge to us!

The water covered every mountain; that is a lot of flood. You see water lifts everything to the top. You have seen that with the tsunami, right? Here is the connection; the blessing lifts us above the earth. It lifts us above the economy. Gen 7:17-20 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

I learned and I chose to believe that this is a picture of the results of the tithe. If we would replace the word “water” with the “blessing”, because what comes out of heaven for the thither? The blessing! From the floodgate and the windows of heaven the blessing comes upon us.

It reads like this: Gen.7:17-20 And the “blessing” (which in the Hebrew means: the abundant, liberal, excessive prosperity of God) was forty days upon the earth; and the “blessing” increased, and lifted up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. And the “blessing” prevailed, and was increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the blessing. And the “blessing” prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills that were under the whole heaven were covered with the “blessing”. Fifteen cubits upward did the  “blessing” prevail; and the mountains were covered with the “blessing”.

Our tithe unlocks the floodgates of heaven and the Lord says: “prove me now herewith” if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

This is awesome, don’t you think so? This is a truth that you and I should have deep in our heart. The blessing will lift us up above our circumstances in a way that our circumstances are covered with the Blessing. Well, we are always  blessed, but when we tithe, the blessing will come pouring into our life out of heaven that we don’t have room to contain it. That is what I want; what about you?

What has tithing done for you? Can you remember when you started tithing and what a difference it made in your life?

Our Covenant of Wealth

Our Covenant of Wealth

Our Covenant of Wealth

by Olga Hermans

We have a covenant with God and in that covenant is the guarantee of wealth. These are desperate time for people who do not know their covenant with God; we have to know what is in our covenant. We need to know how much God wants

to bless us, how much He wants to provide for us and how good He is. That provision is all part of what is set before us as it says in Psalm 23 “there is set before us a table in the presence of our enemies.”

You and I can live in these times and we can thrive and not just survive, we can flourish and we’re not going to fail!
2Chron.16:9 says: For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is willing or loyal or perfect toward him.

This is a covenant scripture; the word STRONG in the Hebrew means WEALTH. So, God wants to show His Wealth to us; He wants to demonstrate His Wealth to us.

Our covenant with God is His total commitment to support us, defend us, protect us and provide for us. God wants to provide for us. God has a covenant-passion and a determination. It is rooted in LOVE and it all comes from His LOVE. It comes from that overwhelming Love that He has for you and I to get that to us; it is a demonstration of that LOVE.

There is a covenant demonstration to locate his covenant people and to bless them. He is looking throughout the whole earth. There are people that have rejected it, because they have been taught something different and criticized this teaching. But you know, I want to receive everything that He has for me, what about you?

The devotion that God has toward us is an undying devotion that compels Him to extend Himself to us with everything He is and with everything He has. God is searching and looking for us.

We cannot say in our heart, “my power and the might of mine hand have gotten me this wealth”. NO!! But you shall remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that gives thee power to get wealth that He may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Deut 8:17-18

God has given us the POWER to get wealth. That is what the Bible says! Dare to believe God! Why does God give us the power to get wealth? It says “that He may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers”.

We can see that in two ways:
1. To establish His covenant on the earth.
2. To establish His part of the covenant.

So that you and I in these times that we are living in we can thrive. It is because of the covenant that He has with us. Wealth is His part of the covenant.

A covenant is an exchange, we exchange with God in that covenant. Everything that He has and everything that He is, is ours. In that covenant exchange God is compelled to give that to us. We have to learn that in a covenant exchange, we give the other part everything that we have.

We are in covenant with God and He has given us everything that He has, everything that pertains to life and godliness. Life is everything you need! Prosperity is a sign of the covenant. Deut 8:18 NLT says remember the LORD your God. He is the One who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant He confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.

We are symbol of the BLESSING, of the covenant with God in this earth and that is what His wealth upon the earth does. He establishes His covenant on the earth through that wealth and he gets done what He needs to get done. God gives us the wealth in order to establish His covenant by evangelism, preaching and teaching (maybe blogging too 🙂 ) God is looking for people who preach that side of the covenant, who will let you know that it is God’s will for you to walk in His wealth.

I choose to believe the covenant; everything that pertains to life and godliness is in it. If we don’t believe it, who will? God believes in us, so it should be an easy choice for us to believe Him especially because He has written it all down for us to read and to apply it to our life, how easy can it get? Choose to believe!

The Supernatural Power Of God

The Supernatural Power Of God

by Olga Hermans

Do you have conversations with your spouse or your friend about the lack in your household? Let’s make an effort to stop that! You should stop right in the middle of that conversation and look at each other and say: “God is our Source.”

He is your supernatural provider and that supernatural provision is above and beyond where that provision comes from. It comes from a higher place. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of lights, from above.

Have you ever wondered where all those quail came from in the Old Testament? It came from heaven; God was the provider. They ate quail every day! What about the manna? That also came from our supernatural provider. One of the names of the father is Jehovah Jireh and that means that He is the supernatural provider. SUPERNATURAL!

And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. Gen 22:7-8. There is Jehovah Jireh that provides for Himself what we need. Wow!

It is supernatural that means that you cannot find it in the natural. We cannot explain where it comes from; we should try to explain where it comes from. The supernatural can be described in Eph.3:20: it is the exceeding abundantly above all that we [dare] ask or think. It is God at Work.

The Holy Spirit can untangle any mess that you have gotten into financially. He has done it for many people and He wants to do it for everybody. God is not a respecter of people. God is able to remove supernaturally what is owed and provide supernaturally what you need. That is what happened to Abraham. Abraham said: “My son, God will provide himself a lamb”.

We have to say that to each other: “God will provide” to your spouse, your children and to yourself. “God will provide!” When it looks like it is impossible the supernatural provider will provide in the midst of the impossibility.

And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. Gen 22:9-14

That is what you need to do: lift up your eyes! We have to lift up our eyes of our faith. Every time you have a thought of “what am I going to do?” replace it with “the Lord will provide”. Or “what is going to happen to us” renew your mind with ““the Lord will provide”.

He is your supernatural provider and He lives on the inside of you. We have the debt canceller living on the inside us. Luk 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord, which is the year of God’s debt release. He said, this is fulfilled in your ears right now.

You and I are in a strong position; you might look at your bank account and be thinking that you’re doomed. The truth is that you are not, not when you have the provider living on the inside of you. You are in a strong position!

In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. How does that speak to you and me today? Whatever we need shall be seen! God will manifest.
When you make a choice to believe and say out loud “I choose to believe” and you release your faith and not waver, not back of, of what you believe; God will come through for you.

Let’s close this post with this scripture: God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? Num 23:19 He will carry through what He promised.

If you have a testimony to tell or something else that you like to add; I would love to hear from you!

Supernatural Prosperity

Supernatural Incraese and Multiplication

Supernatural Prosperity

by Olga Hermans

Hi there! How are you doing? Are you standing on what you believe? Are you speaking what you believe? My friend just posted this on facebook and it fits in here just fine “Our greatest threat is not adverse circumstances; rather it’s the incorrect thoughts & beliefs that try to slip in during our hardship” John Bevere. Especially thoughts of doubt, worry, fear and anxiety are thoughts that we should be aware of.

Can you remember this scripture that I mentioned in this post? Lev 26:9 says  “For I will be leaning toward you with favor and regard for you, rendering you fruitful, multiplying you, and establishing and ratifying My covenant with you”. Ampl. God is saying to you and me “rendering you fruitful”. I receive it; do you? We receive it when we say it! Consider yourself fruitful.

This goes back to the original intent that God had in the book of genesis. The blessing was the first words that men heard. And when God spoke to men, He rendered him fruitful. God rendered men prosperous! That is what we walk in; supernatural increase is working in my life. It has to be received. Adam didn’t hold on to it, he let go of it. But we have to receive and not let it go.

The true meaning of prosperity is the ability to use the power of God to meet the needs of mankind; spirit, soul, body, financially, socially. So the purpose for increase should be a motivation to accumulate for distribution. So, we increase in order for us to be the blessing that God has called us to be. The more you distribute, the more you receive. It’s a wonderful plan!

The book of proverbs says: “if you water, you will be watered.” I am declaring over you right now as you read this: ”the supernatural increase and multiplication of God, every bill paid and every need met and every debt wiped out and more than enough left over; too much, abundance for you and your household! Do you receive it? God is the God of increase! Praise Him and thank Him for it!

Come and see what God for Isaac: When Isaac planted his crops that year; he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the LORD blessed him. He became a very rich man, and his wealth continued to grow. He acquired so many flocks of sheep and goats, herds of cattle, and servants that the Philistines became jealous of him. Gen 26:12-14

People in the world got jealous..This is a great instance here of Isaac, don’t you think so? Look at it right now in the light of what is going on in the economy. This is a great scripture for this hour. Job 5:22 says “At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh”.

The increase of God was working in Isaac’s life in spite of what the economy was around him; it works! The economy of God works independent of the natural economy.  When you separate yourself from that Babylonian world system and you go over into the Kingdom of God system. Then that supernatural increase and multiplication is working on your and my behalf.

In the Babylonian system you pay men to help you, but in God’s system you believe Him and trust Him and He helps you. He doesn’t charge any interest; the world does though. God does not enslave you into debt, He blesses you! Supernatural income works on the inside of us. We must see ourselves prosperous on the inside first. “I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.” So, it begins on the inside.

The more you say it, the more you believe it, the more you meditate on it, the more you receive it. The meditation of it enlarges our capacity. See yourself with it. Even when your bills are piled up high, read Phil.4:19 especially in the amplified version. God daily loads us with benefits. Confess this daily over your life and the increase that comes from the sowing of your seeds will bring that supernatural increase and multiplication in your life. God is good.

Choose to believe and let the power of choice work in your daily life. You choose to dominate your circumstances and your finances. And as you make these daily choices, your life will change for the good. You will be a distribution center and walk in the full blessing that God has for you. Can you say amen? I say amen to that!

Here is a prayer and a declaration from Gen. 26:12-14

PRAYER:

Father, I thank You that I will receive the maximum yield from my seed in the same year that I sow it. You bless me continually and make my name great. You give me a great store of people who offer me their services and you bless all of my production. Because of your anointing, my substance increases so much that my enemies look upon me with jealousy and envy.

DECLARATION:

The Lord has blessed me with abundance.
His favor finds a home in me.
He receives the seed that I have sown and blesses it so  that I will bring forth the maximum yield.
He has taken hold of me in His powerful arm and promoted me. In Him, I find wealth and position. I have been separated from the world. He has placed within me special and unique supernatural qualities. My supply is great with His blessing in my life.
