Soothing Footbath

At the end of the day, if you want to give your feet a real treat; soak them in a reviving footbath. Relaxing the feet can have a calming effect on the whole body.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of sea salt

2 drops Lavender essential Oil

1 drop rosemary essential oil

1 drop bay essential oil

1 drop geranium essential oil

Rose petals (optional)

Take a large basin and a bath towel.

1.       1. Fill the basin with enough warm water to cover the feet

2.       2. Stir the sea salt into the warm water until it dissolves (use your toes to stir, if you wish).
Add the essential oils, mixing them well.
You can add the rose petals for a little luxury if you would like to do that.

3.       3. Soak your feet in the basin for about 10 minutes, or until the water has cooled.
Finish off by massaging the feet with Eucalyptus Foot Lotion (recipe right under),
taking time to massage the toes well.

MAKES ENOUGH FOR 1 FOOTBATH

Eucalyptus Foot Lotion

The feet are very often neglected when it comes to moisturizing, and the skin can easily become cracked. Rubbed regularly into the heels and feet, this lotion will soften the skin.

1 tablespoon almond oil

1 tablespoon avocado oil

1 teaspoon wheat-germ oil

10 drops eucalyptus essential oil

Put all of the ingredients in a small, sterilized glass bottle with a tight-fitting stopper. Shake the liquid vigorously until it is completely combined. Store the bottle in a cool, dark place. Shake well before using.

MAKES ABOUT 1 OUNCE
