You are Valuable
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 ESV
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are God’s own handiwork. He created us with His own hands. You are God craftsmanship, His special work. During the process of creation, God said of everything He created, “It is good.” But when He created man, male and female, He said, “It is very good.”
Having a revelation of your worth in God will transform your life. Many people lack a sense of worth or value in their lives. Society is intently focused on the outward traits of individuals, and many people’s view of their value has become distorted.
Our culture highly esteems those who show beauty, intelligence, wealth, or talents such as music, acting or athletics. God’s view of us is not based on the external. He simply values everyone. Each one of us is special to Him.
Feelings of inferiority can come from putdowns received from others. When I was in the high school, there was a gap between my two front teeth. A little match would fit easily in between, and I was embarrassed to be ridiculed.
Another way that our potential is blocked comes from not properly valuing ourselves. My sister suffered from anorexia. She always compared herself with my other sister and her friends. It was a sad situation in our home, because we were unable to help her. You might say that her feelings of inferiority killed her, for she died of anorexia.
To walk in victory, you must meditate on what God says about you in His Word. You are God’s workmanship. You have been prepared for such a time as this.
Make a choice today to believe that you are royalty, you are valuable. Your value is based on God’s view of you. He believes that you are special, and you are.
When you understand your value in God, then you will also value other people.
God has a great destiny for each of us. He planned it long before you made your appearance on this planet. It is not a plan of failure, misery, poverty, sickness, disaster, or disease. God’s plan for you is a good plan, a plan for health, happiness, and fulfillment.

Prayer for Salvation:
God in Heaven, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. I confess that I haven’t lived my life for You. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died on the cross and rose again from the dead so I might have a better life now and eternal life in heaven. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. From this day forward, I’ll live my life for You to the best of my ability. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
