211 Acknowledge Your Greatness!

Acknowledge Your Greatness!

God made Him, who had no sin, to be sin for us,
so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (NIV)

When asked who we are, we most likely respond with our name, where we live and what we do. That’s the world’s system of identification. But it’s not who we really are. We are spirit beings. Kenneth E. Hagin is said to have reminded himself of his spiritual nature by saying daily: “I am a spirit. I have a soul (mind, will and emotions). I live in a body.”

How did we come into this world? Of course, through our parents. But in reality we are spirit beings sent to the world for God’s eternal purposes. Selah – pause and think about that for a minute. You and I are spirit beings, sent from God to make an impact in this world. Your life is not an accident. It is not happenstance that you came to the world at this time (Acts 17:26).

You are God’s workmanship (Ephesians 2:10) and you are part of His plan for this earth. The moment you were born, your spirit was in tune with God’s plans and purposes for you because you had just come from Him.

But as you became trained in and absorbed the principles of the world, you adjusted to the world’s reality of who you are – focusing on all of of your shortcomings and failure to measure up. Some are even taught that it is wrong to recognize and acknowledge our own greatness…His gift and plan for us.

The Word of God says that we are the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). I have always loved this scripture. But for years, I meditated on only the first part of it. I would think of Jesus becoming sin for me and feel very remorseful over my sinful nature. But then one day, God told me to read through to the end of the verse, which says that I have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!

Religion causes us to focus on our weaknesses and lack of power. Who do you think is behind all this? Why it’s the devil, of course. He wants us to believe that he is our father, but he is not. He is the father of lies

You were born out of God. You are made like Him. His Spirit life is on the inside of you. His greatness is on the inside of you. As Believers, it’s in Him that we live and move and have our being.

Some choose to behave like the devil because they can’t see who they truly are. They believe that there is no greatness in them. If you are convinced that you are a bad person, you will act accordingly. However, if you really believe that the greatness of God resides in you, you will do great things.

Today is the day you can change and begin believing the truth God has spoken about you.

Will you choose to believe that you were born for greatness? Now, that’s the choice-driven life!

The Most Important Choice You Can Make: Prayer for Salvation: God in Heaven, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. I confess that I haven’t lived my life for You. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died on the cross and rose again from the dead so I might have a better life now and eternal life in heaven. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior.
From this day forward, I’ll live my life for You to the best of my ability. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen. Click Here if you need more information.
