The Victory Belongs to You

For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies,
to give you the victory. Deuteronomy 20:4 ESV

The Bible says that you have victory though Christ Jesus. This is a mighty truth that you need to instil into your heart, soul and body. That’s right; the victory has been given to you. Can you see yourself having total and complete victory in every area of your life and over all the power of the adversary?

This is an unconditional truth; you have unlimited victory in Jesus Christ. It is a gift that you received when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. When you start thinking it, dreaming it and talking it, you will start living it.

How we feel about ourselves is a determining factor in our success in life and in our relationships. Do you listen to yourself when you talk? How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself victorious?

God never intended for us to feel bad about ourselves. If you are born-again, then you are somewhere on the path of righteousness. God wants you to realize that you are a unique person, and that He has a plan for you. He wants you to recognize that He made you victorious through His son Jesus Christ.

There are so many promises in the Word of God that give you the guarantee that God is always on your side to help you and that He will always provide your every need. You need to continually fill your mind with these truths; with these blessings. Then you will rise up and walk in the realm of victory.

Victory belongs to you; it is already yours; you don’t have to do anything anymore to try to get it. It has already been given to you, which means that you already have it.

Knowing the truth is a powerful thing, because the truth that you know and apply sets you free from all the old limitations of your old life. You are set free to walk in the light of righteousness, to know clearly right from wrong and able to always make a choice for righteousness. You are a new creation and that is the way you should live.

Some people think that their victory has something to do with the level of education or that they serve in Sunday school or that they always attend church when the door is open. But none of this matters, because Jesus is the one who has given you the victory.

Everything has been given to you because the work of redemption was completed through His suffering, His death, and His resurrection. “The work” was finished. You and I just need to believe it and apply it to our life. Just consider it done.
When you confess the truths of what you have in Christ, they will build a fortress in your mind. It establishes a pattern of response to situations and circumstances that will go beyond your own understanding.

And GOD said, “Good eyes! I’m sticking with you. I’ll make every word I give you come true.” Jer 1:12 Msg. He is alert and active, watching over His word to perform it. He is watching to make sure that His words come true.

Will you keep saying that you have the victory through Christ? Everything you do is successful because of Jesus. He gives you victory everywhere you go; you cannot lose. Now, that’s the choice-driven life!

The Most Important Choice You Can Make:

Prayer for Salvation:

God in Heaven, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. I confess that I haven’t lived my life for You. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died on the cross and rose again from the dead so I might have a better life now and eternal life in heaven. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. From this day forward, I’ll live my life for You to the best of my ability. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

Why is it so difficult for us to believe that we have the victory? I absolutely believe that God never intended for us to feel bad about ourselves; He loves us too much and still I find myself wallowing in my own things. Such a learning process! Thanks for your great encouragement!

  2. I was just reading a book and it was explaining what grace meant and that few Christians really understood it’s meaning. As you know, we are one in Christ – He being the Head and we being the body. In this book he asks the question, “are you of a different body?” “No!” We are “Christ on the earth” and His grace (his empowerment) is what we need to help us to never give up and to finish our race strong! Keep pushing forward dear brothers and sisters! Because of Jesus’ victory we can enjoy many blessings while on this earth but we also will experience some trials and tribulations, as Jesus did. Through those experiences we mature and are prepared for our Bridegroom who will one day “snatch us up in a twinkling of an eye.” 😀
