127 God Loves You No Matter What

God Loves You No Matter What

This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us
and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
I John 4:10 (NIV)

Have you ever asked yourself the question: “What’s wrong with me?” In God’s sight, nothing is wrong with you; absolutely nothing. But Satan likes to plant such thoughts in our minds to give us the feeling that we don’t measure up and therefore, we are not worthy to be loved.

When we begin comparing ourselves with others, we can conclude that something is wrong with us. Those negative comparisons need to be replaced with the thought “God loves me unconditionally!” Not only does He love us no matter what; He has chosen to see us as being right with Him; we are accepted and blameless in His sight.

Good relationships are based on love and acceptance – never on fear. We need to learn how to separate how important we are to God from what we do – right or wrong. It is totally unscriptural to think that our acceptance is based on our performance. There is not one place in the Bible that you can come to God because of what YOU did and because you are such a nice person. NO! We are loved and accepted by God, because our faith in Jesus makes us right with Him through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.

He paid for everything we have ever done and will ever do. He pardoned us from guilt and reconciled us to God. So, that must make it clear that when we stand before Him, we are standing in “rightness” and not in “wrongness”. Choose to believe that your acceptance by God is a gift. It can never be earned. Blessed is the man who knows he has right standing with God apart from the works he does. Isn’t that awesome? Let nobody tell you otherwise!

When you became born again, you were given right standing with God. Your acceptance by God is not based on being good. If you want to make daily progress in your walk with God, It is absolutely vital for you to believe that God loves you unconditionally.

Jesus didn’t die so we can become religious. He didn’t die for us to have a moral middle-class life. He died for us to have a deep, intimate, personal relationship with God through Him.

Will you choose to draw close to God, knowing that He absolutely loves you? Now, that’s the choice driven life!

The Most Important Choice You Can Make: Prayer for Salvation: God in Heaven, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. I confess that I haven’t lived my life for You. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died on the cross and rose again from the dead so I might have a better life now and eternal life in heaven. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. From this day forward, I’ll live my life for You to the best of my ability. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen. Click Here if you need more information.
