God Chooses You Even If People Overlook You
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy
and without fault in his eyes.
Eph.1:4
Has the enemy been whispering in your ear, telling you that your life is insignificant, that God has overlooked you? You’ve done your best, yet have not seen the results you anticipated. You’ve been through some disappointments, and now you’re tempted to think, “Oh, what’s the use? Things will never change. I’ll never accomplish my dreams.” Stop right there! DO NOT believe those lies.
You are hand picked by God. When you go through setbacks or when you feel insignificant, remember, God is working behind the scenes for your good. You may not able to imagine how circumstances can change, but God has a plan, and He can make a way.
When you stay in faith, you can overcome any obstacle and accomplish everything God has planned for you. Even when change looks impossible. Even when you’ve made poor choices and see no way out, God’s hands are never tied. His power is unlimited. Nothing is too difficult for Him.
Not only are His hands free to help you today, they are stretched out toward you, motioning “Come to me.” He can turn around any situation. With God’s help, you are an overcomer. He can open up the right doors and cause the right people to give you favour. God can soften hard hearts.
You may not see a way, but that doesn’t mean there’s no way. Your job isn’t to try to figure it all out; your job is to trust and believe God, knowing that we are people of destiny, chosen and equipped for His purposes.
Will you choose to stay in faith and know that God has chosen you, even when people overlook you? Now, that’s the choice-driven life!

It is such an awesome feeling to know that God will never overlook us and that He handpicked us. I remember that moment that He tipped me on my shoulder and told me how much He loved us. I will NEVER forget that. This was a beautiful article, loved to read it! I am so encouraged by it
It’s been a wonderful lesson to me to learn my answers do not lie in the World but in God. I don’t have to tell Him what I want; He already knows! My job is to rest in Him and trust that he always has my best interests in mind, that things happen on His schedule, not mine and I don’t always know what’s good for me!

You are absolutely right – receiving negative information or thinking about my life i usually start to blame people and to complain about my destiny. So it is impossible to move forward.
Instead of complaining i must be greatful to God for things i have.

Dear Olga,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for three little words-” stay in faith” I so needed to hear them. They are the encouragement I needed to hear. During the last few weeks the storm clouds have gathered, the breeze has picked up and with it a definite sense of tension. Then last week the storm hit. The storm while totally internal brought me to the place of almost giving up and throwing in the towel it all just seemed to hard, the fatigue and muscle joint pain that are the result of ongoing treatment, challenges on the family front and the frustration of dealing with all the physical changes that cancer has brought to my world dominated my thinking and yes it was a choice I made in that I didn’t guard my heart or mind.
I have questioned if Gods purposes for my life had been thwarted and if somehow I had missed it again – it has been so long in the coming – years but as I read the above article I could hear the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit encouraging me on to not give up, to not give in but to “stay in faith” my race hasn’t been run yet, the last pages of my story are still to be written.
Thank you, for writing as you do but for being attentive and obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit – what you are doing God is using.

I like to encourage to meditate on how much God loves you. Tell yourself: God loves me, He will never leave or forsake. He desire to heal me because He loves me. He doesn’t heal you because you deserve or because you don’t deserve it; He heals you because He is a good God and because He loves you. There is no shadow in His love, isn’t that awesome?
