It’s Time To Believe For the Favour Of The Lord

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes,
establish the work of our hands!
Psalm 90:17 ESV

It’s time for you to believe for the favour of the Lord Psalm 102:13 ; for the impossible to take place in your life. God only wants us to advance, never to retreat. Many people cite the book of Job as evidence that God takes away from us. They quote Job who said “The Lord gives and the Lord takes away.” But if you read the entire account, despite his horrendous losses, Job still believed in God and ended up with twice what he had before. God restored to him double what he had lost.

God is no respecter of persons. What He did for Job, He will do for you! God not only wants to restore you, He wants to make you better off than you were before. God is not limited by the economy. God is not limited by our qualifications. God is not limited by our upbringing. Lack of willingness to believe is the only thing that limits God. You need to believe that God is working behind the scenes to put you at advantage. He is shifting circumstances in your favour.

Psalm 102:13, speaking of Zion, says there is a set time to show favour. This means there is a set time for people to receive increase, a set time to receive blessings. It’s the same way today. God has seasons in which supernatural doors will open; seasons in which you will accomplish things you never thought possible; seasons in which you will see great things come to pass.

It’s your choice whether to believe. If you don’t believe it, you are going to miss out. This favour is for people who dare to rise up to their highest potential, who are pressing in to more of God. This is for those who have waited upon the Lord and who know in their spirit that the time of His favour is upon us. This is the time that God is doing great and mighty things even beyond our own imagination.

This is not a matter of whipping your emotions into a frenzied state of believing euphoria. Follow the example of the father in Mark 9 who brought his son to Jesus for healing. Jesus told him that all things are possible to him that believes. The man responded with tears, saying, “I believe; help thou my unbelief.” Simply come to Jesus with your current level of belief and ask Him help you overcome any lingering unbelief.

Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me to help the poor, to comfort the hurting, and to announce the acceptable year of the Lord” (emphasis mine). Luke 4:19 puts it this way: “This is God’s year to act!” (MSG). Another translation says: ”and to announce the year of the Lord’s favour” (ISV).

Maybe you feel like you have been rowing upstream. Life has been a constant struggle for you. You know what? You are not alone. Many people feel that way. They have gotten off track and are totally disappointed. But God says, “Things are about to shift to your advantage. It’s time to receive the favour of the Lord.”

Your best days are still ahead of you. Can you make a choice to believe it? I sure hope so! That’s the choice driven life!

The Most Important Choice You Can Make: Prayer for Salvation: God in Heaven, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. I confess that I haven’t lived my life for You. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died on the cross and rose again from the dead so I might have a better life now and eternal life in heaven. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. From this day forward, I’ll live my life for You to the best of my ability. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen. Click Here if you need more information.

Thanks a lot for this inspirational word for today. I have been in this shoes of thing are tight and not working but when the set time of God came for me, all things began to take shape of their own accord. I often also encourage people but many lack the virtue of patience (though patience in struggling is hard too but if done, lot of gain). Some have even given thrown in the towel thinking God has forgotten them.

Thanks once again for this reminder that God has a season for every one. God bless your ministry.
